Motorcycle Diagnostics and Fault Finding
Electronic diagnostics and old-fashioned fault finding for the problems that other workshops have given up on.

A fault code tells you which circuit is unhappy. It does not tell you why. Plenty of parts get replaced on the strength of a code when the real problem was a corroded connector two feet further down the loom.
We read the codes, and then we do the part that matters: work out what is actually causing them.
What we can trace
Running faults, misfires and flat spots. Bikes that will not start, start intermittently, or cut out when hot. Charging system problems, flat batteries that keep going flat, and stators and regulators on their way out. Wiring damage, corrosion and previous owners’ improvised repairs. Warning lights that will not clear. Fuel injection and sensor faults on modern machines, and carburettor and ignition problems on older ones.
Intermittent faults
These are the ones that cost people the most money elsewhere, because a bike that behaves perfectly on the ramp is easy to hand back. If yours only plays up when it is hot, or wet, or forty miles into a ride, tell us exactly when and we will work to reproduce it rather than guess.
You get told what we found
Before any repair goes ahead you get a phone call explaining what the fault is, what caused it, and what it costs to put right. If the honest answer is that a cheap part will do the job, that is what we will tell you.
Ring 01255 427851, or use the booking form and describe the symptoms in the notes. The more detail you give us, the faster we get to the bottom of it.
