Motorcycle Collection and Delivery

We collect your bike from home or work, do the job, and bring it back, so a service or MOT costs you no time off.

Bike Collection in the First Bikes workshop

Not everybody can drop a bike off at nine and collect it at five. If you work away, do not have a second vehicle, or the bike is not currently in a fit state to ride, we will come and get it.

How it works

Ring or send the booking form and tell us where the bike is and what it needs. We agree a day. We turn up, load it, and take it to the workshop. You get a call with a price before anything is done, the work goes ahead once you have agreed it, and the bike comes back to you.

For a straightforward service or MOT that usually means the bike leaves in the morning and is back the same day or the next.

When collection makes sense

  • The bike is SORN or off the road and cannot legally be ridden in
  • It failed its MOT elsewhere and cannot be ridden back
  • A flat battery, a seized brake or a snapped cable has stranded it at home
  • You simply cannot spare the time to bring it in and get back again
  • You are storing it over winter and want it recommissioned before spring

Coverage

We collect throughout Clacton-on-Sea, Jaywick, Holland-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, St Osyth and the villages across Tendring, and we go out to Colchester and Harwich regularly. Ask when you book.

If the bike has broken down away from home rather than sitting at it, you want recovery instead.
